I get asked all the time, “what can I do with caramel?” My standard response is, “What can’t you do with caramel?” I know I am answering a question with another question, but really folks, let’s use a little imagination. Sweet things are a no brainer. For instance, ice cream, anything chocolate, coffee drinks, and my personal favorite, atop fresh apple. But a little less obvious are some wonderful savory uses for caramel. I will be posting some of my personal recipes in the following days and I hope you will try them out and let me know what you think. The first recipe attached here is for Pork Spare Ribs. I used Postre Sea Salt Caramel Sauce to make a wet rub to marinate the ribs and then slowly roasted them until falling apart tender. Attached is a link with a photo and the recipe. Enjoy!
