We’re Jamie and Joe, the family behind Postre. Jamie is a culinary-trained pastry chef from California with 20 years of experience. Joe is a geologist-turned-restaurateur from Arkansas. In our former life, we owned a restaurant in Washington State and it was there that our journey with Postre Caramel began with an item on our dessert menu. A few years ago, we sold that restaurant and moved across the country to the beautiful mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina. We were inspired by our city’s growing community of artisans, and decided we wanted to get a taste of that as well.

We started selling Postre Sea Salt Caramel Sauce—a name inspired by Jamie’s Spanish heritage—at local markets in 2014 and have grown our footprint to retail stores across the country. We've since expanded our lineup to include chewy caramels, lollipops, and creative gift sets.  Each caramel product we produce represents true craftsmanship and high-quality ingredients that are either organic or locally sourced and include absolutely no preservatives.
